On Friday, 17 October 2025, ‘Wear Silver Day’ will unite families, schools, workplaces, and communities across Australia to shine a silver light on Niemann-Pick Diseases (NPD) and the children, young people, and adults living with these ultra-rare conditions.
By wearing silver, Australians show their solidarity with families facing NPD, raising awareness of a disease that is often misunderstood and overlooked. This simple act sparks conversation, spreads knowledge, and acknowledges the resilience of those impacted.
This October, we invite you to join Wear Silver Day to raise awareness for Niemann-Pick Disease (NPD), a rare childhood condition.
Wearing silver shows solidarity with families affected by NPD and helps spread understanding.
