On Friday, 17 October 2025, ‘Wear Silver Day’ will unite families, schools, workplaces, and communities across Australia to shine a silver light on Niemann-Pick Diseases (NPD) and the children, young people, and adults living with these ultra-rare conditions.

 

By wearing silver, Australians show their solidarity with families facing NPD, raising awareness of a disease that is often misunderstood and overlooked. This simple act sparks conversation, spreads knowledge, and acknowledges the resilience of those impacted.
