9-10th October 2020

Karsten Melbourne

For patients, clinicians and researchers, this conference will feature the latest clinical and research updates, as well as, an opportunity to connect with the rare people this disease directly affects.

We are pleased to have as our keynote speaker, Professor Frances Platt (University of Oxford, UK).  She studies glycosphingolipids, fatty substances that build up inside the cell in lysosomal disorders. Her research led to the development of miglustat, an approved drug for the treatment of metabolic diseases such as Gaucher disease and Niemann-Picks disease type C.

This year we will be selecting additional platform presentations from abstract submissions. Submission of abstracts are now open for oral and poster presentations on Niemann-Pick Disease Type C and related research topics. Please indicate in the abstract submission whether you would like to be considered for oral or poster presentation. Abstracts (max. 500 words) should be submitted as a Word document to Dr. Ya Hui Hung by 31 July 2020.
